Book Art

OK.. It has been a while since I have blogged.  I have been SUPER busy with 5 days of professional development, leaving sub plans, Halloween, a hurricane and LIFE!  I really haven't created anything new.. just enjoying lesson spending money on Teachers Pay Teachers. 

I did create something exciting for more boring walls and electrical covers- BOOK ART! I went to Michael's and bought a package of "t-shirt" frames...3 for $9.99.  I took some 12 x12 blue scrap book paper and used it as a mat.  Then, I picked some of my favorite books(The Giving Tree, Thank You, Mr. Falker, Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly, The Relatives Came and Good Night Gorilla) and framed them.  I love my new wall art!
